Financial Freedom Now

I’m building this site with a couple of objectives in mind.  Firstly, I wanted to create a journal, capturing all the methods, trials, tribulations, failures and successes in my quest for personal financial freedom.  I do this in the hope of finding like-minded people along the way, and networking/collaborating with entrepreneurs and investors who can smooth the path.

The second objective is to use this site to create some passive (or near-passive) income for myself, in the long-term at least.  Blogging and e-business for profit are subjects that I will talk about in the coming weeks, and by putting those concepts into practice, I can speak from my own experiences as well as from those of other people.

For those who are not familiar with the notion of Financial Freedom, the overriding aim is to create more income for yourself, via passive, residual, or leveraged streams, than the sum total of your regular expenses … to have more money coming in, without putting in the time and effort yourself, than is going out. 

There are a number of passive income streams available to everyone, such as business ownership or investment (income via dividends/profits), Stock Market investments, real estate ventures, and many more.  As well as discussing some of the traditional, well-documented passive income streams in this blog, I’ll also be trying to identify new opportunities, and encouraging visitors to do the same.

I truly believe that a collective has a far greater chance of success than an individual, and for this reason, I implore you all to get your thoughts heard, on the forum or via the blog comments.  Together, we can share some of the pitfalls and disappointments encountered by others, and ultimately learn from our past mistakes.
